Short Poem
"Me Time"
The rains have settled down
and the weather is pleasant.
I can see the butterflies fluttering around the golden shower.
There is a melodious tune coming across the street
Someone is truly in love listening to "Crazy".
My coffee has been brewed perfectly
and I'm gonna take a sip.
On a couch next to the window,
wide open to feel the wind.
Dressed in my favorite comfy shorts
and extra-large tee.
With ink on my fingertips
and acrylics on my sheet.
I often write and paint side by side
to pour my thoughts and dreams of night.
